reference floor plan creation:

When I place a 10' X 10' space shape (=100 sq. ft.) on the design grid and use the "convert to walls" option, I noticed that the walls are actually created inside the 100 sq. ft. space shape leaving me with less than the original shape square foot.  I have tried selection Interior and Exterior wall types, but both create walls inside space shape. 

Can the "Convert to Walls" function be configured to create walls outside the space shape defined?

You can add Convert to Walls function for every shape, just add start Convert to Walls add-in.
Are you know what is it ShapeSheet ?

I believe we have a solution for this in work on another thread.  I am having trouble locating the ACTIONS section on the Shape Sheet for the "Room measurement" shape

In ShapeSheet™ window right click mouse that show ShapeSheet context menu.

Click by Actions check-box in Insert Section Window
