I am running Visio 2010. I have an image of my work that I am tracing over. Basically I am redrawing all of the cubicles at my office. When I use any shape, it disappears when I move it with the mouse. If I move it with the arrows on the keyboard, it's ok. Has anyone else had this happen? No matter what I do, it won't stay viewed. I have tried removing the flooring diagram and it still does the same thing. HELP!

Does it disapear forever or only while you are dragging it with the mouse and After the moving it's back again?
For the last there is an entry in the options somewhere, but I don't have Visio2010 so I can't tell you where to find it.

if it happens only when dragging, visio tends to do this when there are alot of shapes on the page.

The behavior sort of suggests that the visio engine looks at all shapes on the page for every iteration of the shape when moving:  if too many
shapes on page, the "shape" walk takes longer than the dragging slice.

This does not happen when using the cursors to move shape
