Anyone tried Visio on a 32" 4K monitor

Hi Andy,

I've been running a pair of 28" Asus PB287Q monitors for a while now and would certainly recommend them.  I was going to do a blog post about them but didn't get round to it, so here are some screenshots attached.  They show how Visio looks at different (Windows) scaling levels.  I love the amount of sections you can see in the ShapeSheet at 100%, but in the end I've settled on 125% as I think I was getting eye strain at 100 (plus elbow strain from leaning forward and peering closer at the monitor).

One other point was that my experience of multiple monitors with mixed resolution wasn't a great one.  I started with one of the 4K monitors and an older 24" standard res one, but dragging windows between the two , things didn't resize properly.  I've yet to move this machine to Win 10 so there might have been improvements.  In anycase, I bit the bullet and bought a second Asus, and, on reflection it was money well spent.

I also went for a decent graphics card so I don't know what the minimum spec to run two of these is, but mine seems to cope very happily.

So here's the first screenshot at 100%

Thanks John, that's a great help.

Shame about the mixed resolutions as I run dual screens, but will only have the option of getting a single 4K, my manager won't stretch to two, but maybe a 32" rather than a 28".

Sounds like a good option.  I don't think you have to spend much time in the ShapeSheet for a large monitor to really help productivity.

Post a screen shot when it arrives!

Moving from V2007 to V2013 showed that there is much less space left for UI elements and drawing. It's a awful.
4K could help, but I don't think my employer will get me one.
