for my P&IDs I often use small circles for junctions. They are handy because you can align them to the shapes supposed to be in the same row or column and the connectors don't behave weird.
These points need to be small enough to be "nice", but then they get too small to be selected and moved properly without scaling.
Thus I group them with some bigger lines that I put on the guides layer, hoping that they won't be printed.
Publishing is done by printing the PI&Ds as PDFs ... and the guide lines, whilst set on no printing, are there - ugly!

How do you guys out there handle this problem?
You will probably tell me to configure properly my PDF printer... the question is how? I'm using adobe professional.

Dear Mr. Gates,
would you please, in the next Visio release, set as standard that if the shape is too small to display both the scaling and the moving pointer, the standard is set to MOVE instead of SCALE.
Best regards

Agreed. Too often have I resized a shape that I want to move. I don't think Bill is interested any more though.
However, maybe Chris can create a section for our want list in the next version of Visio.

Yes. Chris, why not rename the "Visio 2010 Feature Requests" in just "Feature Request". I'll sign also the petition if you set up one.

Paul,
you are right, Bill has other priorities now.
But I found this
