I have a moderately complicated drawing (layout) of a bathroom that I want to send to contractors I am interviewing for a remodel. I usually copy them to IrfanView and save it from there. When I try it with this drawing, it says it "Can't paste image from clipboard". If I try to save it as a jpg or png, I get Error (920).

I used to be able to save much more complicated images with Visio 2007 (I think it was) and Win XP.

What's going on?

More importantly, how do I fix it?

I was just able to save it as an emf drawing. As such, it's only 115 KB!

OK, I saved it as an emf, then opened the emf file in IrfanView and savews that as both a jpg and a png. All completed successfully.

Here are the sizes:

Why is Visio having trouble?
