Rewind

Hi all first post here on the forum.

I'm using visio 2003 and I'm working on a schematics for custom built machines. What I want to do is make a new shape that behaves exactly like the dynamic connector line (auto routes itself not to cross over other shapes) but using a 2d shape so that I can use the gradient options. The reason for this is I want to make an air line shape that will auto route itself. Is this possible?

Surrogate

As i know auto-route behavior of dynamic connector is managed by Visio's core engine. For make same connector you need write own code...
I am afraid that is enought complex!
