Hi. I'm running Visio 2010 and trying to produce an Engineering Drawing for an adapter plate I need to make.
In "Dimensioning - Engineering (US Units)", I'm using the "Diameter" function to indicate a hole size. My problem is that the measurement step sizes are too coarse. For example I've got a 5/16" diameter bolt, which needs a 21/64" diameter hole. Increasing in size from 5/16" the next increment is 3/8".
Is there a way to decrease the increment size please? This means that the increment would reduce to 1/64" instead of the current 1/16".
I hope I've explained that clearly?
Thanks,
Andy.

QuoteHowever, if you aren't afraid to open the ShapeSheet for a dimension line (Window > Show ShapeSheet), you'll find a cell called User.InchPrec which is used for fractional feet-inch display. It is set to 16, meaning show up to sixteenths of an inch. You could change it to 32 for finer precision, or 1 to always round to the nearest inch. This may help you.
