Can I adjust color shading?

In the attached image, I selected a color fill pattern to gradually shift the color from red to yellow. Because red is a stronger color than yellow, the red appears to dominate the object.

Is there any way that I can adjust the rate of change so that the overall image is more yellow?
Using Visio 2019, part of Office 365 on Windows 10

Hello Jennifer,

I would guess that this will be a bit subjective.  Even if you can calculate a value mathematically the perception of the color will likely depend on the monitor, the color of surrounding shapes / background etc., but you could add a tint to the red to calm it down a little:

FillForegnd = MSOTINT(RGB(255,0,0),10)

Is this what you were thinking about?

Best regards

visio 2013 at least lets you set many markers to control the color transition
