I am using Visio 2007 and would like to create a non-standard timeline.  The date format varies (MY, MDY, Y).  I used the block timeline and configured the timeline to no show start and finish dates and not to show the dates on interim time scale markings.  I am using the line milestone, but do not want the date to show on the milestone.  Also, I would like to have the text in the milestone description to wrap.  How can this be done?  Thanks.

The best place to start would be to turn on the developer then dive into the shapesheet properties. Once in there, you will find the ability to turn off dates as well as many other things.
As far as the date wrapping, this can be done in the shapesheet also. I personally like to use callout boxes, you have more control over them and they are more flexible.
