Hi,

I'm wondering if I can take a list of URLS in Excel, import them to Visio and have Visio to create a site diagram. Basically, I want to construct a website's structure from a list of URLS into a visible diagram.

Is this possible? If so, how do you do it?

Many thanks in advance,
Dee

Yes, this can be done, easily with the Org Chart wizard, in Excel just put the URLs as per the attached file:

(I tried to create something using a table but the layout went all over the place!)

Thanks guys for the help. I was able to get a basic diagram. Still look for something a little more advanced, but your tips were great!

Visio Pro has the sitemap generator, that works from spidering an existing website. I think thought that you want to show the structure before the site is created.
Even so, Pro has the website map shapes. How advanced do you want? I do websites for a living as well as Visio stuff, ask away.
