ALT & TAB doesn't open the minimized Schematic
« on: April 20, 2016, 02:43:27 AM »
Hi
Since a few Months i have problems when i have several open dokuments. If i minimize one of it it doesn't come back until i close it and reopen it.
That also hapens when i try the ALT & TAB to Maximize it again. Al what hapens is that it displays the Shape Data and Explorer window.

I have two screens and use the Main Window over the first and 50& of the second screen.
Beside the Main Window i use the Shapedata, Line preferencies and the Explorer detatched outside of the Main Window.
Visio 2013 Pro on WIN7

Does anyone encounter the same from time to time?

Regards, Novski

Here is a table for "Keyboard shortcuts for Visio" at https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Keyboard-shortcuts-for-Visio-ee952f31-7e3e-4564-8116-f3ecbb733cc1.
Here ALT+TAB is explained as Switch between the Help window and the active program.
And CTRL+TAB is explained as Cycle the focus through open drawings.
The problem you mentioned seems like the latter.

Well thats true. CTRL & TAB cycles between windows inside Visio. ALT & TAB cycles throug all open Programs of Windows. So ALT & TAB is more a Windows specific shortcut. Still the issue is that also with Mouseclick a Maximize doesn't Maximize the Main Visio Window...
