I am using Visio Professional 2013 and I want to view the dimensions and area of a rectangle. In Smartdraw there was a 'Show Dimensions' button which, in an instant showed the length, width and area. I have watched tutorials where one has to convert the lines to Wall and then the length and width of lines is displayed but NOT the area. Then if I use the 'Space' symbol template I can see the area but NOT the length and width.
I would have expected any Landscape design software to display these features almost by default as these dimensions are the basic requirements of any back yard design but perhaps I am missing something?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
