Hi there hopefully one of you experts out there can help. I have been using Visio to draw potential communication rooms layouts from an overhead plan view. I am using Visio 2007, and the stencils from Maps and Floor Plans>Building Plans>Walls Doors and Windows (Metric).
I noticed that as you drag the wall sections to elongate, they have text that changes with the length. I have successfully drawn the rooms as I wanted, and added my own dimensioning. The problem I have is that I need to copy the diagrams out of Visio and insert into a Word document (Telecommunication Room Specification) for distribution to M&E consultants. When I highlight the drawing to copy, all the dimensions appear out of scale, and also appear when the drawing is pasted into Word. How do I get rid of these dimensions or cant they be removed. I have tried loads of options in Properties, Shape, and Format to no avail.

Any help very gratefully received

Jon
