Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had a better way to align the top of one shape with the bottom of another.

The only way I can figure out to do it is:

1) Create a horizontal line
2) Select Shape 1 first, then Horizontal line 2nd
3) Choose to align shapes to bottom
4) Deselect everything
5) Select Horizontal Line first, then Select Shape 2
6) choose to align shapes to top

it is a 6 step process and like a 10 mouse click solution. am I missing something? Is there a better way?

Thank you for your help!

Have a look at Guide Points and Guide Lines.
On the ruler, drag the ruler X or Y to get a guide line, or the square between the rulers top right of the drawing area, drag that to get a guide point.
