Shape flips when connected

Hello all.  Fairly new Visio user here.  I have an issue when trying to connect a shape to another shape using connection points.  I have a rectangular object as a master (call it object A) and I am trying to attach it to another, slightly larger rectangular object already in place on the drawing (call it object B).  Object B has an Inward connection point at the top center of the rectangle.  Master object A has an Outward connection point at the top center of the rectangle.  When I drag the object A out from the stencil list on the left and align the connection point up with object B (the red square appears), all of the sudden the Object A is now upside down on top of Object B.
I tried deleting the connection point in the master for Object A, changing it to Inward then back to Outward facing, even deleting the master and trying again.  Has anyone seen this issue or can shed some light on what is going on?

Update:
I guess the issue was because I copied an existing master shape and modified it.  I ended up deleting the shape in the master and recreating it, then grouping all shapes and finally adding the connection point.  It works as expected now.
Still not sure what was going wrong in the first place, so if anybody has any insight, feel free to share.

No the reason is that the connection points are not oriented properly in your shape.

Thanks Yacine.  I did not know that connection points could be oriented.  I'll keep that in mind next time.
