Hi

I looking for a template for doing some pics like this one from Microsoft

I am also wondering if a pic. like this is easy possible with Visio or if i should do it with Powerpoint ?

For the first part, if you save the images from that web page, then edit to get the bits you want, save them as GIFs, use the Visio menu Insert -> Picture -> From File. You can then create a new stencil and drop these images into the stencil.

The second bit can easily be done with standard Visio shapes, blocks with rounded corners, bidirectional arrow shapes and the data shape from the Flowchart shapes.

Other than the center green symbol in the first drawing, all the shapes are standard Visio Pro 2003.  (See Basic Network Diagram.)
