i have an old floor plan that was scanned as a .jpg file.  now i would like to recreate it in visio to clean it up a bit.  what is an easy way to accomplish this?  i am trying to get the new visio drawing to have the same dimensions as the .jpg scan.  thank you!

Create a blank floor plan diagram then insert the scanned image into Visio (menu Insert -> Picture -> From File)
then menu Format -> Picture
and set the image transparency to about 50%
Now you can drop rooms, etc on top of the image to get the sizing correct.
When done select the image and delete it.
