I am considering using Data Linking in a future update of SummaryPro and would love to know what % of people are using older or non "professional" versions of Visio.  Are you using an old (pre 2007) version of Visio or a non Professional version

Earlier than Visio 2007
1 (11.1%)
Non professional version of Visio
0 (0%)
Professional Visio 2007 or later
6 (66.7%)
Always the latest professional version
2 (22.2%)

In such descriptions for the latest Visio releases they write what epic features have been added. Most often they are stencil sets.

Those features that were recognized as "obsolete" and removed are not written about.

@Surrogate,

You seem to be really furious about that "crime scene investigation" template ;D

I think they do listen to people, somewhat. Maybe not doing much for Visio lately, yes, but still doing some stuff.
Editing Shape Data with WEB app, for example, from the recent additions - isn't it a good thing?

They did bring back that database reverse engineer thing, and not in a form of an external add-in, but as a built-in function, like it used to be.

Also (a bit unrelated, but still), for example they have recently added an option to NOT auto-follow starred GitHub repositories. This was even I was somewhat pissed with

Also, Microsoft still have some LIVE PEOPLE there in support (i.e. not robots)

As for myself, I'm just using the subscription now (Plan2), i.e. always-the-latest.

I dont use Visio web app. I use Visio 2019 Professional.
In the last year, I have very rarely used visio in my work. It's very likely that soon we won't be using it at all.
Visio is just a hobby for me ::)
