How to create a checkbox in visio

I know it's possible to create a checkbox in visio but I can not find the option. At the very least it isn't clear can anyone give a com 101 version on how to create a check box in visio.

You need to enable developer mode first (File -> Options -> Advanced -> General) (whoever put a general category under advanced didn't think),
then on the Developer tab you will see Insert with a selection of controls.
