Hi Guys

I am working on a project where we want to compare Visio with AutoCAD.
Here you draw a spline like this: http://youtu.be/pXOpbXNutfY
Is there an easy way to do the same thing in Visio?

Yes.  Visio can do that sort of thing using the "arc" or "curve" drawing tool.

Splines should not be a comparison factor to chose between AC and V.
Their targets are quite different. What are you aiming for?

First of all i would like to apologise for my late reaction. I thought that I would get an Email when somebody replied.

Now for the splines. We use AutoCAD splines to draw flexible tubes very similar to this material:

This is usually done by drawing splines like in the little example movie. This is relevant because one third of the plans we design are built with these tubes. Therefore I wondered if there was a way to draw them the same way in Visio because Visio has some advantages that AutoCAD doesn't have.
