Dear all,

I am finding it hard to find good resaources regarding floor plan tutrorial on Visio on internet. Anyway I have some very basic questions regarding floor plan.

I am using 2007 version; want to create a floor plan for my home. I am using the room shapes to create all the rooms in my house. This gives me flexibility to resize the size of room. I know there is also a WALL option which you can use to create rooms. I want to know when will one use room versus wall option.

1. By using walls, I dont have flexibility to change room size easily, since I have to adjust each wall separately  ( correct  me if I am wrong)
2. By using room shapes, I do get the flexibility of resizing the rooms easily but I get overlap of walls between adjacent rooms, which again does not look good ( I am attaching a sample to show how three adjacent rooms have overlap in adjacent walls)

I am not sure, if I am creating my home plan in the right way but would welcome advice in this regard.
