I'm either searching for the wrong thing or not finding any useful information, but I have one relatively simple problem:

I have the generic Visio 2007 network equipment rack.  I want to create a shape that will glue itself to both sides of the equipment rack.  I can add connectors Outward connectors on the new shape and have one of them snap an Inward connector on the rack on one side, but not both.  How can I create a shape (what data do I modify?) that will snap to both sides?

Another way of thinking about it is that I want to create a custom shape for a piece of equipment with slots, and I want to create custom shapes for the cards that go inside the slots, and want them to snap to both sides of the slot.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!
