Hi,

We are doing BP mapping and we current use hyperlinks at the lowest level for users to click and get the instructional level information as a PDF file.

Publishing everything for intranet access becomes laborious and problematic because we are creating hyperlinks to external files, I would much rather be able to embed the PDF file or Word document into the Visio file or link to a Visio page that contains the text.

I have not been able to achieve either with all my experimenting. I've tired inserting objects, as icons and not, I have tried copy with a paste/paste special and this came the closest by maintaining the Word formatting of the table and associated text but did not include all pages of the Word document.

We are using Visio Standard, I did a trial of Premium but I could not find a solution in Premium either.

I wonder if you may have a suggestion or solution for me, or confirm for me that it cannot be done so I can give up?

Thanks!
