hi everyone,

i'm not sure if i'm asking this question in the correct area, but here goes:

i have very limited experience with visio. i'm using visio 2007 and i want to highlight part of a jpeg image with a red rectangle so that the viewer can instantly see the most pertinent part of the image. i'm doing this for a technical blog where i want part of an image that demonstrates a section of a windows program graphical user interface to stand out to the reader.  please forgive my wordiness, but i just want to make sure that i've made myself as clear as possible.

thanks in advance

Insert your image into the page using Insert -> Image, then add a rectangular box, set the fill pattern to none and the line colour to red. Now resize the box to suit.
