C:\bar.emf ??

Hi, I'm having trouble with visio 2007.  The software I'm developing uses Visio & Word automation to copy the visio drawing and pasting it to word.  For some reason, it seems at some point a file named bar.emf is written to the root ( C:\ ).  Is this normal behaviour?  Is there any way to change it to maybe use the user's temp directory?

Yes, it's quite normal, I've found this file produced as well (though I didn't know the cause). A bit of a security hole in my opinion. On any machine used by multiple users this file is visible to all.

Thanks Paul, do you know of a way to change this?  Folks will be running this via terminal services and do not have access to C:, which may cause some errors...

Nothing that I know of, I would guess that the path and file name are hard-coded into the software.

Random thought, I swear that that bar.emf file is a ThinkPad issue...? I may be confusing memories, though.

i have database drawing in visio.
Select table, Ctrl+C, and file appears on c:\bar.emf
if you remove access to it, then it doesn't produce any errors
