Opening Visio 2003 to 2010

Hi,
Is is possible to open and edit cross functional flowcharts that were created in Visio 2003 in Visio 2010? My company has been using 2003 for years, but is now considering upgrading to Visio 2010, and we don't want to lose the ability to edit our 2003 CFFs, or have to re-draw them all in 2010. I've heard there are issues with the use of containers in 2010, which I assume is why when I open a 2003 file in 2010, the swimlanes are off the page. Is there an easy way to "import" 2003 files into 2010, or is the only solution to work with CFFs in their native program (i.e. either 2003 or 2010) or re-draw the CFFs?

You cannot roundtrip functional flow charts (i.e. the trip from 2003 to 2010 is one way, 2003 cannot use them after 2010 has updated them).

I'm not concerned about roundtripping, because we would wholly switch to Visio 2010.
Will 2010 completely repair the swimlanes from a Visio 2003 file? From what I've seen, the trip from 2003 to 2010 does not retain the original formatting, and the swimlanes always seem to end up at the bottom of the page. Is there something I'm missing?

I certainly would never make that kind of committment (I don't work for MS). In my experience you have to open them individually to make sure (and make necessary corrections). The move from v2003 to v2010 for the basic shapes is transparent (IME), the ones that require custom code have been a mixed bag.
