Setting the text of a shape from custom properties

I must be a dummy, but I can't seem to figure out how to set the text of a shape from the value of a custom property.

I know that to get the text of a shape you can use SHAPETEXT(TheText), but I don't see a cell or function to set the text.

Figured it out (inserting a field with a custom property) in the text box.
