Selecting Guides

Is there an easy way to select all guide lines for convenient deletion or to bring them forward?

Also, is there a way to set guide lines to always be in front by default?

Is there an easy way to select all guide lines for convenient deletion or to bring them forward?

menu Edit -> Select by Type
and deselect all types except Guides
