Mezzanine symbol w/adjustable platform level etc

Hi, has anyone created a shape (not dimensional) for a mezzanine where the platform height can be adjusted with a control handle and the handrail can be cut to show equipment placed on the mezzanine? See attached picture for explanation. The shape can be very basic nothing fancy, just rectangular boxes that's fine.

Possible to do it but not that easy on Visio, you have many different programs that are better to do this kind of things.
Doing a handle for the platform height is really easy.
A hide/show action with right click that hide/show handrail and equipment is easy, but a slider that show/hide progressively the handrail and equipment is a pain to do, it has to hide progressively the handrail and show progressively the equipment...
First idea would be to draw a white shape with a control; the control will make the white shape bigger and hide the handrail progressively, but the problem is to show the equipment progressively with this method...
Also, if you want to add equipment and the equipment to follow the platform you have some shapesheet modification to do for each equipment.
Or you could create a group for equipment and only the group follow the platform, then if you want to add equipment, add the equipment to the group, place it correctly inside the group and done.
But if I were you, I forgot about slider that Hide/Show progressively, way too much work for a feature not that useful.
I made a small bad drawing in 10min without equipment to show you the result (right click on the shape to hide/show handrail), but I really recommend looking for another program to do this kind of things.
