I generally always use the same shapes in every document I create and I've purchased a bundle of electronic shapes to add to Visio. I would like to have them in the left column every time I start a new document but they always have to re-selected them every time. Is this possible and if not why? Seems like a common sense feature that many people would want.

Visio 2024
Thanks in advance

Create a new document.
Open the commonly used stencils.
Make your preferred settings (page format, grid, etc...)
Save as template.

Next time create new documents based on this template.

Ah, of course. My excuse is I'm a Newbie, but at the same time how stupid could I be.

Thanks so much.
