Is Visio being discontinued in 2026

I don't think it's 2026.
For example, Microsoft Publisher discontinued in 2026 was already announced publicly 10 months ago.

I think they will discontinue the classic versions of 20xy (eternal)! But keep the subscription versions Plan 1, Plan 2...

We are just guessing. Maybe Stefan could disclose the source of this rumor?

I would say Project is more likely to be discontinued at some point,
as they are basically building a replacement product - Planner (premium)?

But for Visio, what is a possible replacement product? Powerpoint? Don't think so.
IMHO, although Visio may be going downhill since 2010, it is still alive somehow, and may even outlive us
