Visio 2021 w/ office 2024

Hi all, i did not see a visio 2021 issues topic so thought i would ask in genereal. I have tried and tried to install office 2024 (while using and keeping visio 2021) but it just reverts to office 2021 even though i do have a proper 2024 license.   has anyone else had this issue? drivin me bonkers.

As Office 2024 was releases beginning Oct (last month), unlikely that anyone has run into this.  Don't believe I've seen anyone using V2021 either.

I would have expected what you did, to work.  Do you have Office 2021 installed, or just Visio?  If Off2021 present, you might try uninstalling to see if that works.  If just V2021 present, then, you might also try uninstalling and reinstalling after Off2024.  Those are just guesses on my part.

For ref, I run Off2010 and V2019 together on same PC and have no issues.

It's definitely 2021, I'll attach pic if I can. And it was office 2021 professional. I uninstall everything and tried to just install 2024 office but no doing, just reverts to 2021 even though in programs it says 2024 is installed... soooo frustrating ... can never figure pics out lol

You may be on subscription license that defines what version you get when you install office. It can also be controlled by your company admin. In the new world, just downloading a launcher file that ends with 2024 brings nothing. You don't even need to download anything now, you can just switch the version from within the product itself:
