Decided to coalesce a couple of topics.
One addresses issue of using VBA to add Field Text. It begins without any text having been added:

The 2nd does a similar thing without using VBA. Multiple lines of Field Inserted text are entered into a single shape. These lines are shown in separate "boxes" using multiple geometry sections. A control point is used to show/hide via shape expansion as many "row" entries as desired. The example only covers 3 rows, but can be extended as desired.
