Title: Smart container shape
Post by: Yacine on August 30, 2015, 07:49:33 PM
Drawing a container in a P&ID is a simple and fast task. However repeating the same operations over and over gets tedious.
So I build a template, in which I injected some smartness. That's what Visio is for anyway.

Having not posted something meaningful for a long time, I thought I'd share it.
It will hopefully be the last container shape you'll ever need.

A small video shows the features of the shape here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaJpnyp8nps

The shape itself is in a vsdx file - sorry for the V2007 owners - I could not get V2013 to save as vsd.  :-[
Make sure to save the shapes in a stencil and don't forget to do so for the line styles as well. Otherwise you won't be able to use the jackets and the insulation.

Cheers,
Yacine

Thank you,
The ports of the container were the sub-shapes I had difficulties with in the other post.
