Title: Conoid the Barbarian
Post by: wapperdude on January 05, 2009, 01:53:32 AM
OK, just a cute title.   ::)

The attached drawing provides a "dynamic" conoid shape.  There are three control points to modify the shape  :o :  1 to move the tip of the cone and 2 to control how the sides interface with the circular base.  Crude, but it seems to work.   ;)

Enjoy.

and I've got another one that I started yesterday and completed just now, it's a modified version of the cone taken from the 3D Geometry stencil at

The apex of the conoid now moves with the control.

A slightly modified version with some of the extraeneous shapes and control points removed.

Trimming the shape like this I'm tempted to rename the thread Conoid the Barber, Ian.
