Title: 1-D Aspect ratio
Post by: Mike54 on April 09, 2018, 10:28:42 PM
How can you maintain the aspect ratio of an object when it is set to 1-D. I have the object I want to create and now want to use it to snap into a Comms cabinet drawing. As soon as I convert it to 1-D it looses the aspect ratio (which kinda makes sense being 1 dimensional) but as per my previous question about ratios I see stencil images set to 1-D but they still maintain their aspect ratio.

In the shapesheet you can set the height to be some ratio of the width, e.g. height = 0.5*width.  You should but the guard function around the formula.
