Title: Sort & renumber by date + reposition on page
Post by: Noisy Cricket on January 18, 2016, 04:57:33 PM
Hi all,

I've been inactive with Visio for a while but here's the thing:

I've got multiple shapes (containers) which all have date properties. I want to sort the containers by date (ascending) and update a number. Secondly, I want to reposition the containers on the page based on the location the shape has in the matrix of dates)

Any ideas?!

I was thinking of compiling an array in which the original date and ID are read, then sorted by column, new column added numbered from 1 to n and re-introduce the new numbering to the containers....

There has to be an "easier" way...

Thanks in advance
