Title: Is it possible to hide shapesheet from code?
Post by: bazinga on January 09, 2016, 10:56:50 AM
Not sure if Shapesheet can be hidden but is it possible to either disable to hide the shapesheet option from visio from programming?

Probably only if you're though enough to use the visio viewer and program your own GUI?
May be forcing visio to work in non developper mode?
What are you trying to protect? may be you could move some shapesheet functionallity to an addon?

Frst, you can turn off developer mode to hide the shape sheet command..
Note that it's already hidden by default (developer mode is disabled by default).

Also, check out my article about disabling stuff in Visio. May be of some use:

I mean, technically it's possible. The question is if it makes sense - looks a bit like X/Y problem actually.
