Title: Can I track last edit date of a shape?
Post by: Michelle on February 01, 2013, 07:46:31 PM
I have done this for my template so I can tell if the version I (or anyone else) am using is the most recent.  But can it be done on a per shape basis?  Or at least per stencil?

Thanks!

obviously when the stencil is opened and then saved it will update the datetime stamp on the file.

My english is little, may be i don't understand what you want...

If you need get date of last changing of shape.

1. Add shape data, for example named prop.date with

Type    -  5 (Date)
Format - "{{HH:mm-MM.dd.yyyy}}"

2. In section "Events" in cells "TheText" and "EventXFMod" write formula
=SETF("PROP.DATE',NOW())

If you moved this shape or change text it chanded value in cell Prop.date
