Title: Oracle Database table to datalink to

I am trying to get a handle on how to create vba code to access an oracle 10g table from visio2007 to datalink my shapes for a flow chart  as I am currently doing with and excel spreadsheet.

My odbc is set up and the test connection works fine.

As my first test I simply tried to get visio to connect to db account both through the datalink option and through the the database wizard add on. in all cases visio simply hangs, at least for 1/2 an hour at which time I killed session.

Suggestions ?
