Title: Customizing the VISIO Getting Started Page
Post by: broered on May 28, 2008, 03:50:08 PM
Does anyone know if there's anything published on how to customize the VISIO Getting Started Page?

Hi Broered,

Do you want to totally change it, or just get your own custom templates to show up?

I'd like to be able to add groups to the Template categories list
then be able to insert templates within the categories I create.
I don't necessarily want to alter the Microsoft defaults but it would be nice to remove things that I don't need and never would use.

VISIO is such a powerful tool that it's applicable to lots more than what Microsoft lists as their default templates.  Key to this, is the ability of the user to customize.

Thanks
