... and they managed to run Visio on a Mac!
Hey, it's Santa.

P.S.: Either the monitor is fire proof, or Santa is powering his computer with candle light.

Looks like Santa is using Visio to optimize the travelling salesman problem ;D

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

The candle is an LED plugged into the USB port, and the light from the candle powers the computer via a small solar panel. Simple.

I was born left-handed. When I went to school I was "retrained" to write with my right hand.

Now I am equally bad with both hands. I pick up a pencil or a spoon with the hand that is closer to the object. Sometimes I confuse left and right. In my case, being ambidextrous is not fun  :o

People often say German has words for concepts that don't exist in other languages. While it doesn't strictly apply to this case, we do have the phrase zwei linke Hände haben—literally "to have two left hands."

They tried to give you a proper right hand but ended up leaving you with two left ones instead.

It's a neat but tragic anecdote about tolerance and ignorance, definitely worth mentioning, even if we're all feeling a bit of that woke fatigue. It also reminds us how naive assumptions don't always hold up in reality.

P.S. Since it's all the rage to claim or categorize everything these days, why not modify LGBTQ to LGBTQA? The A would stand for Ambidextrous. ;)

PPS: We're now stuck with Paul's right arm. What shall we do with it? (My fridge is full)

Does your fridge contain a beer? Put it in my right hand, which should be somewhere near my right arm ...

Well, actually, no. Tonight we have mainly been drinking champagne (2 glasses), red rioja (1 glass), and later, vintage (1992) port (1 glass). Sigh.
Anyway, by by the time the beer travels from Germany to England the beer's temperature will have risen to ambient. Ale-mentary physics. Or ale-chemy.

Paul's poor arm kept nagging on me.
Having to hold a beer till eternity with no other purpose than holding it.
A Machiavellic burdon.
