Hello,
Ive just downloaded Visio to make a flowchart for a webpage and when I save the chart as a webpage its based on frames. Is it possible to remove the frames? Its very hard to implement the flowchart with another page when it is with frames..
Thanks for any help :D
Would you care to try out my
http://www.sandrila.co.uk/visio-utilities/ (http://www.sandrila.co.uk/visio-utilities/?id=117)
which can save Visio pages as webpages but without all the frames etc. Just plain HTML. You also get a choice og image type, GIF, PNG etc.
This looks promising, but when I add the path and restart Visio I get the following message:
Visio was unable to run "VisioSuperUtilites.exe".
CreateProcess returned result of 740.
You can continue running Visio.
Click OK to continue.
I think you need to be running Visio as an administrator.
Yes, this got it working.
I have now tried to export a page, but I cant click any of the elements in the flowchart.
What is supposed to be in the header and image path? Is there anything I have to do?
None of the elements are clickable, the pages are just stored as images, nothing more than that. You lose all the smarts.
The header and footer paths are for more complex uses, so that when exporting many pages you can import HTML code before and after the image on the web page.
Ok.. Then I still have a problem..
I need the page with clickable objects, but without frames.. Is this impossible? I cant understand why microsoft would make a page with frames..

I can get the utilities to do this. I've added it to the "to do" list. It won't be this week though!
Ok, that would be nice :)
