I am trying to figure out how create a shape on each page of my drawing that has a hyperlink to the table of contents page (pg 2). Is there a way to do this without having to manually paste the shape on each page and hyperlink them individually. Thanks!

Visio "out-of-box" dont have this opportunity, you must write own custom code for make these changes!

like this?

ok, there are command buttons on each page but the system is the same. The code is what the recorder recorded.

To write the code I use Excel. If there are 199 pages I write all code in row 1 to 199 except the number of the CB. Then concatenate everything needed and p&c.

Maybe there is a solution to place one single CB at the so called background (which appears at every page)...

This is just what I would do.

cheers

add: to place a CB on every page you can also use vba ;)

A monoxide possibility would be to create a blank page with just the hyperlink.  Whenever you want another page, duplicate this page.
