Select points on lines

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to select multiples points (on lines) with a "selection rectangle" or equivalent to be able to select multiples points quickly.
it look like on visio we have to click on every single point, one by one to select the points.

Not aware of "easy" button to do this.  It's click 1st point then hold down <shift key> + click to add additional points to the selection.

It might be possible to open the shapesheet and identify/select multiple rows in geometry section.  You need to tile both windows to view which nodes are being selected.  When you switch back to drawing window, do NOT click in the drawing area...that will deselect all.
