Guard on the shape data format field

If I put a Guard on the shape data format field, if the user doesn't access the shapesheet is there any other way they can change a lookup list (that is in the format field)?

The user can use the code to change the content protected by the Guard function, FormulaForce can do this.
Of course i mean advanced user  ;)

I assume the user does not go in to the shapesheet, warn the user in the manual no to.
