What is "Vertical P And"?
« on: August 04, 2023, 02:07:37 PM »
I was making a fault tree and needed an And gate. Found it, no problem. My search also turned up something called a "Vertical P And" symbol in the Miscellaneous Flowchart Symbols template.

What the heck is a P And?

The "Vertical P And" shape is actually an OR gate and the "Vertical XOR" is actually an AND gate, so &&&& knows.
I suspect many of the shapes in some stencils are there just to make up the numbers and in real life are as useless as a chocolate teapot.
