Interactively apply shape data from one spreadsheet to multiple diagrams

20 Network diagrams, each with standardised shape data sets.
I'm looking for ideas on how I can centralize all shape data in all diagrams via a single Excel file.
Any hints to get me on the right track would be truly appreciated.
