Enable Automation Event get disable automatically

Hi,
While working on Visio many time i faced an issue with "Visio Event processor" and "Enable Automation Event" get disable automatically. Does anyone know what can be reasons that these two features get disabled automatically.
Also it would be great if i get to know the functions of these two "Visio Event processor" and "Enable Automation Event".

Are you enabling event processing in code? VBA?
Can you tell us a bit more about what you are doing?
