Hi all,

I've been scouring for ages now to try and find a solution to this and I'm hoping someone here can help me before I go mad!

I'm trying to create a link from the top of my visio drawing to the bottom as it's quite long.  I've created a link using the sub-address box and renamed all my shapes to logical names so the links read something like "page1/enviro".

Everything works fine when I test the links in visio and the page scrolls to the bottom.  However when I create the html output and click on the link, nothing happens - the page doesn't move.

Am I doing something wrong or does it just not work?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks
Rach

I don't think you can do that, the nearest functionality would be the "<a name="xxx">" in HTML and that can only work for text.

I've played with this quite a bit also and have never had satisfactory results. One seemingly logical thing to try is the zoom settings on the hyperlink -- you would think that if you set the zoom to 100% or 150%, which works fine is Visio, that the web page would act the same. However, it's one of a small number of features that don't make the transition to the html output.

Just to agree with Paul's comment - the JavaScript only extracts the page name part of the hyperlink address and everything past the forward slash is discarded.
